ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for automatically closing a door pivoted at one side end thereof to an entrance-exit opening portion of a building, the device comprising a main body adapted to engage with said one side end of the door horizontally slid- ably, a horizontal resilient member provided within the main body, and a cam member having at one end thereof a cam face for receiving the biasing force of the resilient member and pivoted at said one end to one end of the main body by a vertical pin, the cam member being adapted to be attached to the wall of the building adjacent to said one side end of the door, the cam face including a planar portion for receiv- ing a predetermined minimum biasing force of the resilient member when the door is closed, a curved portion continuous with the planar portion for receiving the biasing force of the resilient member which gradually increases as the door is progressively opened and a terminal portion continuous with the curved portion for receiving the biasing force of the resilient member which is increased to the greatest extent when the door is opened through a specified angle or a larger angle.
