ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for the burglar-resistant locking of a door, such as container or warehouse door, comprises a slidable latch bolt intended to be mounted inside the door and co-operated with a receiving recess to lock the door. A key-operated latch permits withdrawal of the latch bolt. The latch includes a device for restraining the latch bolt in the withdrawn position. A guide guides a key on the end of an elongate, flexible key holder from the outside through an opening in the door to the latch thereby to permit the key to be inserted into the latch and the latch bolt to be withdrawn.
