Device for changing printing forms on cylinders of printing machines. A printing-form changing mechanism (2) can be placed by pivoting, on the one hand in a working position facing the channel (17) of a plate cylinder (12) and, on the other hand, in a changing position in which it is set back from the working position. The changing mechanism (2) occupying a vertical position ready for changing is capable of being swung by pivoting against a support element (5) in which are provided an insertion region (13) for a printing form (14) which is to be removed from the cylinder (12) and devices (6) for transporting a printing form (22) which is to be fitted to the plate cylinder (12). Application, in particular, to offset printing machines.
