The invention relates to a device for characterizing the nature of an aerodynamic stream along a wall (2), the device comprising a plurality of temperature-sensitive optical nodes (6) of Bragg grating type distributed along an optical fiber (5), and means for determining the variations in speed of the aerodynamic stream. The nodes (6) are distributed along a fiber placed substantially following the route of a streamline (7), and processing means (8) are devised so as to differentiate the temporal and spatial characteristics of the signals of thermal flowrate among the nodes.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de caractérisation de la nature d'un flux aérodynamique le long d'une paroi (2), le dispositif comprenant une pluralité de nuds optiques (6) sensibles à la température de type réseau de Bragg répartis le long d'une fibre optique (5), et des moyens pour déterminer les variations de vitesse du flux aérodynamique. Les nuds (6) sont répartis le long d'une fibre sensiblement placée selon le cheminement d'un filet d'air (7), et des moyens de traitements (8) sont agencés de manière à différencier les caractéristiques temporelles et spatiales des signaux de débit thermique des nuds entre eux.
