The invention relates to a device for feeding lumpy alternative fuels and/or waste products into a revolving tubular furnace at a location situated between the feeding end and the dropping end of the revolving tubular furnace. A closeable opening is provided in the casing of the revolving tubular furnace. The opening supports an inwardly opening flap (12) that is spring-loaded in the closing direction, and a lifting device, e.g. a fork (5), is connected to the opening in an essentially radial direction. This lifting device enables the fed fuels or waste products to be dropped into the revolving tubular furnace under the influence of gravitational force and while surmounting the closing force of the flap.
L'invention concerne un dispositif servant à charger des combustibles de substitution et/ou des déchets en morceaux dans un four tubulaire rotatif à un emplacement situé entre l'extrémité de chargement et l'extrémité de déchargement du four tubulaire rotatif, four dans l'enveloppe duquel une ouverture obturable est pratiquée. Selon ladite invention, cette ouverture comporte une trappe (12), s'ouvrant vers l'intérieur et soumise à l'action d'un ressort dans le sens de fermeture, et un dispositif de levage, tel qu'une fourche (5), est relié à cette ouverture dans le sens sensiblement radial, dispositif de levage par lequel les combustibles ou déchets à charger peuvent être déversés dans le four tubulaire rotatif sous l'effet de la force de gravité et en dépassant la force de fermeture de la trappe.
