The invention relates to a device for chopping foodstuffs, such as onions or similar, comprising a housing (1-3), which may be placed over the goods to be chopped and a downwardly displaceable knife (19), guided in the housing (1-3), which may be operated against the force of a spring (14), by means of an operating mechanism (9), with a push button (12) and a plunger (11). The knife (19) is rotated through an angle during the upwards displacement, by the guide in the housing (1-3) and the rotation induced by the operating mechanism (9), relative to the housing (1-3), is restricted to one direction by means of a forced step advancer (15, 16). The operating mechanism comprises a novel cap (40), open at the bottom, in which the push button (12) is rotatably mounted, whereby push button (12) and cap (40) are rigidly connected in the axial direction.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour broyer des denrées alimentaires, telles que des oignons ou similaires. Ce dispositif comprend un boîtier (1-3), pouvant être placé au-dessus de la matière à broyer, et un couteau (19) qui est guidé dans le boîtier (1-3) et peut coulisser vers le bas, à l'encontre de la force d'un ressort (14), au moyen d'un mécanisme d'actionnement (9) comportant un bouton-poussoir (12) et un poussoir (11).
