16 Herberts Gesellschaft mit beschrankter Haftung Abstract A device for closing containers, particularly cans, is described, with a sleeve-shaped neck fixed or fixable to the container, the upper end of which neck is provided with an external screw thread and with a lid which can be screwed onto the screw thread, neck and lid having one or more detachably interlocking locking devices. The locking devices at neck and lid are each formed under the screw thread in the direction towards the container, the locking devices being designed to be rigid on the lid and flexibly reversibly deformable on the neck and the locking devices at the neck having a longitudinal extension in the direction towards the container such that when the lid is in place they project over it, producing pressure points which permit an unlatching of the locking devices. The containers which have the device are also described.
