A device (10) for collecting a blood sample from a plastic segment tube (50) into a receptacle (60) uses a cylindrical housing (11) containing a hollow needle (15) to puncture the segment tube (50) as it is inserted into the upper port of the device (10). A series of ribs (14) with tapered medial edges are arranged in a radial pattern around the needle (15) within the upper port to guide and support the segment tube (50) as it is inserted. The ribs (14) are separated by slots (13) that also guide the sealed end (51) of the segment tube (50). An annular recess (16) around the lower port of the device (10) holds the rim of the receptacle (60) and allows blood released by the punctured segment tube (50) to drain into the receptacle (60). The annular recess (16) accommodates a wide range of test tube diameters, and exerts only a downward force on the rim of the receptacle (60) when a segment tube (50) is inserted into the upper port of the device (10).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif (10) permettant de recueillir dans un récipient (60) un échantillon de sang à partir d'un tube plastique segmenté (50). Le dispositif comporte un logement cylindrique (11) contenant une aiguille creuse (15) qui perce le tube segmenté (50) lorsqu'on l'insère dans la partie supérieure du dispositif (10). Une série de nervures (14) avec des bords intermédiaires de section transversale décroissante est disposée selon un modèle radial autour de l'aiguille (15) dans la partie supérieure pour guider et soutenir le tube segmenté (50) lorsque celui-ci il est inséré. Les nervures (14) sont séparées par des interstices (13) qui servent aussi à guider l'extrémité scellée (51) du tube segmenté (50). Un évidement annulaire (16) dans de la partie basse du dispositif (10) maintient le bord du récipient (60) et permet au sang d'être évacué goutte à goutte par le tube percé (50) vers le récipient (60). L'évidement annulaire (16) accepte une large gamme de diamètres de tube de test et exerce une simple pression descendante sur le bord du récipient (60) quand un tube segmenté (50) est inséré dans la partie supérieure du dispositif (10).
