The invention relates to a device (1) for collecting objects (2) from a roadway (3) and to a van-type vehicle provided with such a device, comprising a collecting plate (10), means for fixing (11) said plate to a motorised land vehicle (4), and actuating means (12) for moving the plate from a non-operational lifted position to a lowered collecting position and vice versa, said fixing means being used to fix the collecting plate to a front end of a motorised land vehicle. The invention is characterised in that the actuating means are suitable for pivoting the collecting plate between the lifted position in which it is perpendicularly oriented to the surface of the roadway, and the lowered position in which it is essentially parallel to the surface of the roadway. The invention also relates to a van-type vehicle (4) comprising such a device.

The invention also relates to a van-type vehicle (4) comprising such a device. Dispositif (1) de ramassage d'objets (2) sur une chaussée (3) et véhicule (4) de type fourgon équipé d'un tel dispositif comportant un plateau de ramassage (10), de moyens de fixation (11) dudit plateau à un véhicule terrestre à moteur (4) et de moyens d' actionnement (12) pour faire passer ledit plateau d'une position relevée non opérationnelle à une position abaissée de ramassage et inversement; lesdits moyens de fixation sont adaptés pour permettre la fixation dudit plateau de ramassage à une extrémité avant d'un véhicule terrestre à moteur; et en ce que lesdits moyens d' actionnement sont adaptés pour faire pivoter ledit plateau de ramassage entre ladite position relevée, dans lequel il est orienté perpendiculairement à la surface de la chaussée, et ladite position abaissée, dans laquelle il est sensiblement parallèle à la surface de la chaussée.
