The device (1) for collection of animal semen comprises a rigid frame (2) which is adaptable to an artificial vagina (V), and to which filtration means (3) and a collection receptacle (4) are fixed, the filtration means (3) being positioned inside the collection receptacle (4). The filtration means form a filtration pouch, preferably conical, that make it possible to hold back the "tapioca" and to allow the liquid fractions of the semen, including the "rich fraction" containing the spermatozoa, to pass into the collection receptacle (4).
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) de collecte de semence animale comprenant un cadre rigide (2) adaptable à un vagin artificiel (V), une unité de filtration (3) et un récipient de collecte (4) étant fixés à ce cadre, l'unité de filtration (3) pouvant être placée à l'intérieur du récipient de collecte (4). Cette unité de filtration forme une poche de filtration de préférence conique destinée à retenir la substance gélatineuse et permettant aux fractions liquides de la semence, y compris la "fraction riche" contenant les spermatozoïdes, de passer dans le récipient de collecte (4).
