ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for compensating for dropouts in an angle-modulated signal. The device comprises a variable delay line, which receives a control signal from a control unit for variably delaying said angle-modulated signal. The control unit comprises a dropout detector and a circuit co-operating therewith for supplying an output signal which is representative of the magnitude and the polarity of the dropout. The output signal is applied to the variable delay line as a control signal.
