A device mounted on a vehicle such as automobiles for confirmation of the rear view of the vehicle. Mounted to a door end of the vehicle is a miniature CCD camera which picks up and indicate an image of the rear view of the door on a monitor. A door opening detecting mechanism is provided for detecting beforehand an opening movement of the door of the vehicle from an access of a hand to a door knob and door unlocking, and when an opening movement of the door is detected, the camera, a camera angle control mechanism and the monitor are turned ON to start imaging by the camera, control of a camera angle and indication on the monitor. The camera angle control mechanism turns the camera in a reverse direction by an angle, through which the door is opened, and controls direction of the camera to keep it constant. Accordingly, it is possible to urge a crew's safety confirmation at the time of getting-off through an indication representative of a rear view of the door and to have the crew visually identify information which are required for safety confirmation at the time of getting-off.
Dispositif monté sur un véhicule tel qu'une automobile et permettant de confirmer la vue vers l'arrière du véhicule. A l'extrémité d'une portière du véhicule est montée une caméra miniature à dispositif de couplage de charge (2) qui capte et reproduit l'image de la vue vers l'arrière de la portière sur un écran (4). Un mécanisme de détection d'ouverture de portière (1) détecte préalablement le mouvement d'ouverture de la portière du véhicule à partir de l'action de la main sur la poignée de la portière et du déverrouillage de la portière. Lorsque le mouvement d'ouverture de la portière est capté, la caméra (2), le mécanisme de réglage d'angle de caméra (3) et l'écran (4) entrent en fonction pour déclencher la visualisation par la caméra, le réglage de l'angle de la caméra et l'indication sur le moniteur. Le mécanisme de réglage d'angle de caméra (3) tourne la caméra selon un angle inverse au sens d'ouverture de la portière en réglant le pointage de la caméra (2) de manière à le maintenir constant. Ce dispositif permet d'obtenir une confirmation de sécurité pour les passagers au moment de leur sortie grâce à une indication représentative de la vue vers l'arrière de la portière, les passagers pouvant visualiser les informations qui leurs sont nécessaires pour sortir du véhicule en toute sécurité.
