ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is a connector for connecting a tube to a container such as a container for a medical solution that is to be administered to the body. The connector has a body within which a tubular needle can be reciprocated. The tubular needle is connected to a fluid flow tube at one end. The connector has means for securing it to a container with the free end of the tubular needle aligned with an entry to the container so that by reciprocating the needle one can cause the needle to enter the container while it is rigidly con- nected to the container.
