The invention relates to a device for contacting an electric line (2), especially a flat conductor cable (1), with a contact element (5), which has at least two contact tongues (4a, 4b, 4c) on the side facing the line (2). To achieve secure contacting, the contact element (5) has clamping halves (6a, 6b), which are arranged resiliently in relation to one another.
