The present invention relates to a device for continuous production of foil expanded metal, specially an aluminium foil, comprising a cutting unit for continuous production of parallel, staggered longitudinal cuts in said foil, and an expansion unit for expanding the foil with said cuts perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of said foil and provided with toothed belts which grasp both edges of the foil, in addition to a running body which is arranged therebetween to expand the foil running thereon. In order to increase production speed and quality and to reduce energy consumption, the inventive device is configured in such a way that a toothed belt (12) and a toothed wheel (11) interacting therewith at a given contact angle are assigned to each foil edge, between which the edge of the foil is grasped within an input and an output point (22, 23). The toothed wheels (11) are inclined in relation to each other so that their distance perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the foil increases at the contact angle in the longitudinal direction of the foil.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de production en continu de métal déployé à partir d'une feuille, en particulier d'une feuille d'aluminium, comprenant une unité de coupe servant à réaliser en continu, dans la feuille, des fentes longitudinales parallèles et décalées, et une unité d'étirage servant à étirer la feuille pourvue desdites fentes transversalement par rapport au sens longitudinal de la feuille. Cette installation comprend des courroies crantées qui accrochent les deux bords de la feuille et entre lesquelles est disposé un corps de roulement servant à étendre la feuille se trouvant sur celui-ci. Pour augmenter la vitesse de production et la qualité, ainsi que pour réduire la consommation d'énergie, ladite installation est conçue de sorte qu'à chaque bord de feuille soient associées une courroie crantée (12) et une roue dentée (11) coopérant avec cette courroie selon un angle de contact défini, entre lesquelles le bord de la bande est saisi et déplacé d'un point d'entrée à un point de sortie (22, 23), et de sorte que les roues dentées (11) présentent une inclinaison relative telle que leur écartement, transversalement par rapport au sens de la feuille, augmente, en suivant l'angle de contact, dans le sens longitudinal de la feuille.
