Abstract of the Disclosure A device for controlling a cutting torch for angular or circular cutting, especially of pipes, in which a swivel mounting for the torch is rotatably supported by a control axle which is connected to an angle setting head so as to be adjust- able to different angular positions. The control axle may be a series of pivotably interconnected links with one end link connected to the angle setting head and the other end link connected to the swivel mounting so that the latter can be moved along a path parallel to the plane of the axle. Alternatively, the control axle may be a rigid rod to which the nozzle mounting is attached by a radius arm to allow circular cutting.
