DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING CAPACITY OF COMPRESSOR ABSTRACT A control device for a variable capacity com- pressor in an automotive air conditioning system includes a first temperature sensor disposed for- ward of the evaporator, a second temperature sensor disposed behind the evaporator and a third tempera- ture sensor disposed at the outside of the automo- bile compartment. The control device compares the air temperatures detected by the sensors with pre- determined temperatures, and controls the capacity of the compressor in accordance with the compared results.
