ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure herein describes a device which comprises: means for alternately connecting a vessel with a vacuum and gas source; a communicating means connecting the said means with the gas source and communicating with a projection which is opened at its other end; a container enveloping at least a portion of the projection and a float within the container which is capable of sealing the open end of the projection; a liquid contained within the container and with its level above the open end of the projection has a density such that it can urge the float into a sealing relationship with the end of the projection, the device also includes exit means above the level of the liquid which communicate with the container.
