ABSTRACT "DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING GOLF SWING" The present invention provides a golf swing aid which allows the user to practice a golf swing, including the hitting of a ball, so as to improve there style. It has long been recognised that it is desirable to have the golf swing subscribe a mere circular arc within a fixed plane. The angle of such plane might vary dependent upon a number of conditions such as the operators height and length of club being used. The present invention provides a rigid elongate member with pivotable attachments at both extremities. One pivotable attachment is constrained to the golf club shaft proximate its head. The other pivotable attachment is fixed via a mounting means to a rigid point for example 6 feet above the ground level. The pivotable nature of the two attachments and the rigidity of the elongate member provide geometric restraints upon the golf club while being swung and result in a near "perfect" golf swing.
