The device for controlling the production quality of a press that manufactures packages, and specifically for controlling the production quality of a press that manufactures paperboard or corrugated board packages, which includes in series an infeed station (4), a die-cutting station (5), a waste stripping station (6) and a delivery station (7), has systems (2) for controlling the printing and blanking quality which include, among others, a camera (26) for the scanning of colour register marks and a register mark for the position of the blanking. The camera (26) is located at the outlet of the die-cutting station (5) so as to scan the marks applied on the underside of the sheets (9). A marking device (3) driven by the systems (2) for controlling the printing and blanking quality is arranged in the delivery station (7) of the press (1).
