2047705 9010737 PCTABS00002 The invention relates to an oscillating conveyor in which the conveyor trough is arranged helically about a contral pipe and is at least partly immersed in an electrolyte in a container. An oscillating drive is fitted outside the container. According to the invention, the oscillating drive (10) is arranged above the central pipe (2) and between the central pipe (2) and the container (5) there is a gastight flexible seal (40) which also receives a torsional component of the oscillation. This device forms a closed system which is suitable for a non-aqueous electrolyte as the treatment fluid.
