The invention relates to a device for transporting flat, especially plate-like, objects (2, 2') with a driven conveyor belt (4, 4') running around a conveyor belt body (3, 3') and on which the objects (2, 2') bear during transport. Said conveyor belt has suction apertures to which a vacuum from a vacuum system can be applied, is to be further developed in such a way that it is possible to convey suspended or supported magnetic and non-magnetic flat, especially plate-like objects at high speeds and considerable acceleration. This is achieved in that the vacuum system is integrated into at least one combined vacuum-magnet system (VMS) which is fitted in the conveyor belt body (3, 3') and its action is applied to the region of the conveyor belt (4,4') bearing the objects (2,2'). Each vacuum- magnet system (VMS) has at least one magnet (5, 5') and one vacuum channel (6,6') connected to a vacuum source (4,4') close to the conveyor belt (4,4'), which is connected to the suction apertures in the conveyor belt (4,4') via suction pipes (7,7') passing through the magnets (5,5').

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de transporter des articles (2, 2') plats, se présentant notamment sous forme de plaques, avec une bande transporteuse (4, 4') entraînée, tournant autour d'un corps à bande transporteuse (3, 3') et sur laquelle se trouvent les articles (2, 2') pendant le transport. La bande transporteuse est pourvue d'ouvertures d'aspiration soumises à une dépression produite par un système à produire le vide. L'invention vise à perfectionner ce dispositif, de manière à permettre un transport suspendu ou soutenu d'articles plats magnétiques et non magnétiques, se présentant notamment sous forme de plaques, à des vitesses élevées et avec des accélérations considérables. A cet effet, le système à produire le vide est intégré en au moins un système aspirant-magnétique (VMS) combiné, monté dans un corps à bande de transport (3, 3') et exerce son action sur la zone de la bande de transport (4, 4') supportant les articles (2, 2'). Chaque système aspirant-magnétique (VMS) comporte au moins un aimant (5, 5') monté à proximité de la bande transporteuse (4, 4') et un puits à dépression (6, 6') relié à une source de dépression, ledit puits communiquant, par l'intermédiaire des conduites d'aspiration (7, 7') traversant les aimants (5, 5'), avec les orifices d'aspiration de la bande transporteuse (4, 4').
