The invention relates to a device for conveying products (2), particularly food products, consisting of a horizontal conveying path supported by a base and having a drive means (1) substantially extending in the horizontal direction, wherein the drive means (1) is reversibly driven, and is associated with at least one auxiliary conveyor device (3, 4) also supported by the base, said device having a conveying means (5) for the product (1) driven by the drive means, and having supporting means (3, 4) by means of which the product (1) is laterally supported and carried at a distance from the drive means (1).
