The invention provides a device for encrypting or decrypting data packets, comprising storage means for temporarily storing data packets, identification means for identifying data packets, processing means for cryptographically processing data packets, and memory means for storing cryptographic information. Said processing means comprise, according to the invention, a firstand a second cryptographic element, said first cryptographic element being designed for generating, on the basis of a first starting value, processing data for cryptographically processing a data packet, and said second cryptographic element being designed for generating, on the basis of a second starting value, said first starting value. In addition, said processing means according to the invention are designed for forming, on the basis of a cryptographically processed data packet, said second starting value, thereby ensuring the synchronization between corresponding encrypting and decrypting devices.
L'invention est un dispositif de chiffrement et de déchiffrement de paquets de données qui comprend une unité de stockage temporaire de paquets de données, une unité d'identification de paquets de données, une unité de traitement cryptographique de paquets de données et une unité de stockage d'informations cryptographiques. L'unité de traitement de l'invention comprend un premier et un second élément cryptographique, ce premier élément cryptographique étant conçu pour produire, à partir d'une première valeur de départ, des données de traitement cryptographique de paquets de données, et ce second élément cryptographique étant conçu pour produire, à partir d'une seconde valeur de départ, ladite première valeur de départ. De plus, cette unité de traitement est conçue pour former, à partir d'un paquet de données traité cryptographiquement, ladite seconde valeur de départ, ce qui assure la synchronisation des unités de chiffrement et de déchiffrement correspondantes.
