The invention relates to an apparatus for decelerating sheets (9), especially paper or cardboard sheets, which are to be placed on a stack (6). Said apparatus comprises rotatably driven clamping elements (16) which are disposed across the width of the apparatus on at least one side of the conveying plane of the sheets (9) and are provided with clamping zones (17) that intermittently reach all the way to the feeding plane of the sheet (9) when revolving. The inventive apparatus further comprises a mating element (18) which is rotationally disposed on the opposite side of the conveying plane of the sheets (9) such that a sheet can be clamped between the clamping zones (17) and the mating element (18). The clamping elements (16) are connected to an asymmetrical rotary drive unit while being equipped with ring segment-shaped clamping zones (17) on a section of the circumference thereof. Furthermore, a deflecting device (13) which deflects the rear edges of the sheet from the feeding plane in a downward direction is arranged at a distance from and upstream of the clamping elements (16) in the direction of travel of the sheets.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de freinage de feuilles (9), notamment de feuilles de papier ou de carton destinées à être déposées sur une pile (6), comportant des éléments de blocage (16) pouvant être entraînés en rotation, disposés au moins sur un côté du plan de transport des feuilles (9), sur la largeur du dispositif, présentant des zones de blocage (17) s'étendant temporairement jusque dans le plan d'entrée des feuilles (9) lors de la rotation. Le dispositif selon l'invention comporte également un contre-élément (18) disposé de façon rotative sur le côté opposé du plan de transport des feuilles (9), de telle manière qu'une feuille peut être bloquée entre les zones de blocage (17) et le contre-élément (18). Les éléments de blocage (16) sont connectés à un entraînement rotatif non uniforme et présentent sur une partie de leur périphérie, des zones de blocage (17) en forme de segments annulaires. Un dispositif de déviation (13) est disposé dans le sens d'avancement des feuilles, à distance en amont des éléments de blocage (16), et sert à dévier vers le bas les bords arrière des feuilles provenant du plan d'entrée.
