The invention concerns a device for detachable connection (1) between a first element (3) and a second element (2). It comprises a reception cradle (13) delimited by the first element (3) and a connecting means (20) integral with the second element (2), said means (20) being linked to the cradle (13) on one side by retaining means (21) and on the other by a flexible means (22) which can be retracted to enable the two elements to be separated. The cradle (13) defines a reception space (14) wherein is inserted the connection means (20). The cradle (13) defines a wall (15) for receiving the retaining means (21). The invention is applicable to ticket reading appliances.
