ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The device for detecting atmospheric impurities has a detector with a threshold adjuster, for detecting the presence of gaseous impurities in the ambient atmosphere, which emit variable control signals. The detector is connected to analogue instruments for displaying the level of the impurities represented by the variable control signals, and the threshold adjuster is connected to an alarm actuator for selectively or simultaneously controlling an acoustic alarm, a visual alarm, a solenoid valve for closing gas ducts and/or a relay for disactivating power lines.
