The invention relates to a device for detecting a falling of a body into the water of a pool, comprising a probe (1), which is immersed in the pool (20) and designed for transmitting aquatic waves that propagate in the pool. The probe is connected to a compression chamber (8) designed for measuring variations in pressure caused by these aquatic waves. An electronic unit (4) is designed for receiving and interpreting electrical signals representative of variations in pressure that are measured in the compression chamber. This electronic unit is designed for storing the signals generated by the pool and for alternating the operating mode of the device between a calm mode, a disturbed mode, and an agitated mode according to the value of the amplitude and to the value of the frequency of the electrical signals generated by the pool.

Un dispositif de détection d'une chute d'un corps dans une masse d'eau d'un bassin comprend une sonde (1) immergée dans le bassin (20) et adaptée à transmettre des ondes aquatiques se propageant dans le bassin. La sonde est reliée à une chambre de compression (8) adaptée à mesurer des variations de pression provoquées par lesdites ondes aquatiques. Une unité électronique (4) est adaptée à recevoir et interpréter des signaux électriques représentatifs des variations de pression mesurées dans la chambre de compression ; cette unité électronique est adaptée à mémoriser les signaux générés par le bassin et à alterner le mode de fonctionnement du dispositif entre un mode dit calme, un mode dit perturbé et un mode dit agité selon la valeur de l'amplitude et la valeur de la fréquence des signaux électriques générés par le bassin.
