This digital phase lock loop locking detection device is such that the said phase lock loop (1) comprises a phase variation detector between the input and output signals, and the output signal from this detector presents transitions of one type in coincidence with the transitions of a given type of the input signal; in order to perform the said locking detection function, this device comprises locking detection means (5) which in turn comprise means for sampling the phase detector's output signal, via those of the transitions of the output signal which are of an opposite type to the given type, means (50) of memorizing groups of consecutive samples in a number at least equal to three, and means (54) of detecting the instant when, for the first time, at least two of the said samples do not have the same level of logic.
Ce dispositif de détection d'accrochage d'une boucle à verrouillage de phase numérique est tel que ladite boucle à verrouillage de phase (1) comportant un détecteur d'écart de phase entre ledit signal entrant et ledit signal sortant, et le signal de sortie de ce détecteur d'écart de phase présentant des transitions d'un premier type en coïncidence avec les transitions d'un type donné du signal sortant, et des transitions d'un second type en coïncidence avec les transitions d'un type donné du signal entrant, ce dispositif comporte, pour réaliser ladite détection d'accrochage, des moyens (5) de détection d'accrochage comportant eux-mêmes des moyens pour réaliser un échantillonnage du signal de sortie du détecteur de phase, par celles des transitions du signal sortant qui sont de type opposé audit type donné, des moyens (50) pour mémoriser des groupes d'échantillons consécutifs, en nombre au moins égal à 3, et des moyens (54) de détection de l'instant où, pour la première fois, deux au moins desdits échantillons n'ont pas le même niveau logique.
