ABSTRACT In order to determine the fuel level in a tank for liquid gas, particularly LPG for cars, a rod made of radiation energy conducting material is located at the imaginary level of the LPG in the tank at a given position thereof. An end of the rod receives radiation externally of the tank and feeds it back depending on the level of LPG in the tank.
