The invention relates to a device for determining the CO concentration in a gas containing hydrogen, said device including a detection electrode (1) contacting said gas and separated from a counter electrode (2) by an electrolyte (3, 4). In a galvanostatic mode, the fluctuations of the hydrogen oxidation potential of the detection electrode (1) are characterised by a parameter having a value used for obtaining the CO concentration by comparison to reference data.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détermination en CO présent dans un gaz contenant de l'hydrogène, comprenant une électrode de détection (1) en contact avec ledit gaz et séparée d'une contre-électrode (2) par un électrolyte (3; 4). En mode galvanostatique, les oscillations du potentiel d'oxydation de l'hydrogène de l'électrode de détection (1) sont caractérisées par un paramètre dont la valeur permet d'obtenir la concentration en CO, par comparaison à des données de référence.
