The invention relates to a device (1) for drying and thermally treating granulates with an inert gas stream. Said device has a cuboidal base body (2) comprising an inlet (3) for the granulate in the upper part and an outlet (4) in the lower part. Said device has an inlet (5) on a side surface and an outlet (6) on the opposite side surfaces of the cuboidal base body (2) for the inert gas stream. Said device also comprises a distribution and retaining device (7, 8) in the region of the inlet (5) and outlet (6) of the inert gas stream which substantially extend over the total vertical cross-section of the cuboidal base body (2).
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) pour le séchage et le traitement thermique de granulés avec un courant de gaz inerte. Ce dispositif comporte un corps de base (2) de forme carrée, présentant, pour les granulés, un orifice d'admission (3), ménagé dans la partie supérieure, et un orifice d'évacuation (4), ménagé dans la partie inférieure, ainsi que, pour le courant de gaz inerte, un orifice d'entrée (5), ménagé sur une face latérale, et un orifice de sortie (6), ménagé sur la face latérale opposée. Ce dispositif comporte également un dispositif de distribution et de retenue (7, 8) dans la région de l'orifice d'arrivée (5) et dans la région de l'orifice de sortie (6) du courant de gaz inerte, chacun de ces dispositifs s'étendant sensiblement sur toute la section verticale du corps de base (2) de forme carrée.
