Device for drying a compressed gas which consists of a compressed gas supply (2 ), two pre s sure ves s el s ( 33 and 34 ) which are provided with an input ( 37, 38 respectively) and an output ( 39, 40 respectively) and a take-up point ( 32 ) f or users of compres sed dried gas, whereby at least two layers of desiccant ( 35 and 36) are provided in the pressure vessels ( 33 and 34 ), a f irst layer ( 35 ) made of a waterproof desiccant and a second layer ( 36 ) whi ch i s not nece s sarily made of a waterproof desiccant respectively, and whereby the pressure vessels ( 33 and 34 ) are provided with a second input ( 41, 42 respectively) for the supply of compressed gas to regenerate desiccant from the first layer ( 35 ).

L'invention concerne un appareil de séchage de gaz comprimé comprenant une source de gaz comprimé (2), deux récipients sous pression (33 et 34) dotés d'une entrée (respectivement 37, 38) et d'une sortie (respectivement 39, 40) et un point de prélèvement (32) pour les utilisateurs de gaz comprimé séché, au moins deux couches de déssicatif (35 et 36) étant placées dans les récipients sous pression (33 et 34), respectivement une première couche (35) constituée d'un dessicatif résistant à l'eau et une deuxième couche (36) qui n'est pas nécessairement constituée d'un dessicatif résistant à l'eau, les récipients sous pression (33 et 34) étant dotés d'une deuxième entrée (respectivement 41, 42) pour l'alimentation en gaz comprimé afin de régénérer le dessicatif de la première couche (35).
