The invention relates to a device for supporting objects for drying. This device (10) contains a catch basin (20), for receiving fluid that drips off of these drying objects. Attached to the catch basin (20) is a first adjustable rack (12), having a front end and a back end. The back end of the first adjustable rack (12) is rotatably supported within the catch basin (20). In addition, a second adjustable rack (14) which is rotatably attached to the first adjustable rack (12) extends in a substantially upright or vertical position. The second adjustable rack (14) is for supporting the objects for drying. Both the first adjustable rack (12) and the second adjustable rack (14) are comprised of a series of parallel extending bars (11, 13) that are spaced apart from each other to receive a plate (15) between these parallel extending bars. These parallel extending bars (11, 13) are also designed to support a series of pots (17) on either the first adjustable rack (12), or the second adjustable rack (14), wherein these parallel extending bars (11, 13) allow water to drip down through the bars and into the catch basin (20). In addition, there is also an adjustable tray (30), disposed adjacent to the adjustable racks (12, 14), wherein the adjustable tray (30) is designed to support kitchen utensils and silverware (47) in an upright manner for drying. This device (30) can also be collapsed to allow this device to be folded up to stand freely upright on a substantially horizontal surface.
L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à supporter des objets en vue de leur séchage. Ce dispositif contient un bassin collecteur servant à recevoir un liquide coulant à partir de ces objets. Une première grille réglable comprenant une extrémité avant et une extrémité arrière est fixée au bassin collecteur. De plus, une seconde grille réglable fixée rotative sur la première grille réglable se prolonge dans une position sensiblement montante ou verticale. La seconde grille réglable sert à supporter les objets en vue de leur séchage. La première grille réglable et la seconde grille réglable sont constituées d'une série de barres parallèles espacées l'une de l'autre de façon à permettre l'insertion d'une assiette entre lesdites barres parallèles. Ces barres parallèles sont également conçues pour supporter une série de casseroles sur la première grille réglable ou la seconde grille réglable, lesdites barres parallèles permettant à l'eau de couler à travers les barres dans le bassin collecteur. Par ailleurs, un plateau réglable disposé au voisinage des grilles réglables est conçu pour supporter verticalement des ustensiles de cuisine et de l'argenterie en vue de leur séchage.
