The device comprises: at least one continuous flexible suction conveyor (13) which is equipped with openings (13A) and which conveys the articles (R) along a transfer path from an article feeder (41) to an article receiver (45; 47), a discharge point for the trimmings being provided along the transfer path; and a suction system (3) which is associated with the conveyor (13) and which generates a suction through the openings along said transfer path. At least one obturator element (33A; 33B; 33X, 33Y), which is movable along said transfer path and which temporarily closes the openings of the conveyor opposite the trimming or trimmings, is provided.

Selon l'invention, le dispositif comprend au moins un convoyeur (13) aspirant souple et continu doté d'ouvertures (13A) et destiné à transporter des articles le long d'une voie de transfert à partir d'une chargeuse (41) d'articles vers un récepteur (45, 47), un point de déchargement des rognures étant placé le long de ladite voie; et un système d'aspiration (3) associé au convoyeur (13) et produisant une aspiration par les ouvertures le long de la voie de transfert. Au moins un élément obturateur (33A, 33B, 33X, 33Y), mobile le long de ladite voie permet en outre de fermer temporairement les ouvertures du convoyeur opposées à la ou aux rognures.
