The invention relates to a device (1) for embossing and/or glazing fine metallic paper, comprising at least a first (2) and a second (3) embossing roll. The flat material (6) can be fed under pressure between said embossing rolls, in order to create a pattern. At least an additional embossing roll (4) is connected downstream of the second embossing roll (3). Said additional embossing roll interacts with the first (2) or preceding (3) embossing roll. The patterned flat material (6) can be fed between these embossing rolls, in order to be embossed again with substantially the same pattern. In complex processing methods, it is advantageous to synchronise the embossing rolls.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif (1) pour gaufrer et/ou glacer du papier avec une fine métallisation. Ce dispositif comprend au moins un premier cylindre de gaufrage (2) et un second cylindre de gaufrage (3). Le matériau plat (6) peut être conduit sous pression entre ces deux cylindres, afin de produire un échantillon. Le second cylindre de gaufrage (3) est au moins connecté en aval à un autre cylindre de gaufrage (4) qui agit conjointement avec le premier cylindre (2) ou avec le cylindre en avance (3). Le matériau plat (6) échantillonné peut être conduit entre le second cylindre de gaufrage (3) et l'autre cylindre de gaufrage (4), afin d'obtenir sensiblement le même échantillon dans une étape de post-gaufrage.
