ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A one-piece moulded plastics cap fits on a container of soluble plant food. A bore directs a jet of water at a groove in a rising bed. Water runs into the container from the groove through an orifice and forms a concentrated solution which is sucked up through a tube by the venturi effect of the water streaming over the bed towards a spray-forming lip.
