Abstract A device for extracting a liquid or pasty substance from a tube (19) comprises a key (10) having a hollow shaft (11) which is provided with a widening longitudinal slot (13) open at one end, and a handle (12). The end of the tube (19) is gripped by insertion into the longitudinal slot (13) from the open end. The hollow shaft (11) of the key (10) gripping the end of the tube is pushed from one side into an elongated horizontal recess (8) which is formed by a depression (9) in a baseplate (2) of a holder (1) and by a clamping plate (3) of elastic material projecting over said depression. On the bottom side it is bounded by a shoulder (5) which together with a curved portion (7) of the clamping plate (3) forms a clamp slot (9) through which the tube (19) is passed. Through the turning of the key (10) the tube (19) is pulled through the slot (91 into the recess (8) and rolled up. Thereby, or when pressure is applied to the tube (14), substance is extracted from an outlet slot (16) in a closure cap (15) made of rubber.
