The invention relates to an apparatus for extruding thermoplastic material, comprising an extruder screw (2) which is mounted in a housing (1), comprises a plasticizing section (P) on the inlet side, a degasification section (E) upstream of an outlet section (A), a flow arrester (S) between the plasticizing section (P) and the degasification section (E) with a screw section with a counter- rotating delivery flight (3), and at least one flow channel (5) bridging the flow arrester (S) and containing a melt filter (4). In order to reduce the driving power of the ex-truder screw (2) it is proposed that a sleeve (7), which encompasses the screw (6) and is mounted in the housing (1) in a rotationally fixed manner, is associ-ated with the screw section that forms the flow arrester (S), and the screw (6) in the screw section of the flow arrester (S) has a smaller screw diameter in rela-tion to the plasticizing section (P) and preferably also to the degasification sec- tion (E).
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour extruder une matière thermoplastique, comprenant une vis d'extrudeuse (2) qui est montée dans un corps (1) et comporte une section de plastification (P) côté alimentation, une section de dégazage (E) montée en amont d'une section de décharge (A) et, entre cette section de plastification (P) et cette section de dégazage (E), une section de blocage du passage (S) formée par une section de vis présentant une spire d'acheminement en sens opposé (3). Ce dispositif comprend par ailleurs au moins un canal d'écoulement (5) qui comporte un filtre (4) pour la masse fondue et contourne la section de blocage du passage (S). L'invention vise à réduire la puissance d'entraînement de la vis d'extrudeuse (2). À cet effet, un manchon (7) monté dans le corps (1) de façon bloquée en rotation et contenant la vis (6) est associé à la section de vis formant la section de blocage du passage (S) et la vis (6) présente dans ladite section un diamètre réduit par rapport au diamètre de la section de plastification (P) et au diamètre de la section de dégazage (E).
