Device for fastening a shoe (2) on a pedal (80), including magnetic means (90) rigidly connected to the pedal (80) and metallic means (40) rigidly connected to the shoe (2), and also spacing means causing the shoe (2) to be moved away from the pedal (80) in the direction of an increase in the magnetic airgap; said spacer means having ramps (5, 25) extending circumferentially and positioned in such a way that the relative rotation of the shoe (2) and the pedal (80) cause them to move away from each other.
