ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for fixing an extra glass panel in a window comprises a strip arrangement adapted to extend around the glass panel and fastening elements. The strip arrangement has a peripheral edge portion which receives the glass panel and a sealing portion which sealingly engages an existing glass panel in the window. The fastening elements are adapted to be attached to the window frame and have a retainer portion for contacting the existing glass panel. They also have a leg resiliently connected to the retainer portion that can be snapped into engagement with an abutment surface on a shoulder of the strip arrangement. The legs are inwardly inclined towards the existing glass surface so that the extra glass panel can be snapped into position merely by displacing it towards the existing glass panel.
