ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for fastening the front plate of a drawer to metal drawer frames. Holding members are fastened to the front plate which are of angular configuration, when viewed from the top, with a holding flange aligned parallel to the front plate. Supporting members are formed at the drawer frame. The supporting members have U-profiles, when viewed from the top. The flanges of the holding members which are aligned parallel to the front plate are insertable into the U-profile of the supporting parts. Each holding member has a bracing flap which is by means of a bracing screw pressable against the supporting flange or against the flange of the supporting member lying opposite the supporting flange of the U-profile.
