The invention relates to a device for feeding a material into a cutting/comminution zone of a cutting machine for plant materials, particularly for tobacco, comprising a transporting device which transports wetted tobacco material into the cutting/comminution zone and comprises at least one transmission belt equipped with at least one endless transmission belt. The transporting device (5) is joined with self-supporting bearing structure preferably defining guides (7). The working surface of the transmission belt (14) of the main conveyor (5a) is positioned at an angle beta (.beta.) between 10~ and +10~ relatively to the horizontal direction, an access space (P) being formed between the transporting device (5) and the immobile body (1) of the cutting machine cutterhead (2) when in a service position.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'introduire une matière dans la zone de coupe/broyage d'une machine à couper des matières végétales, en particulier le tabac. Ce dispositif comprend un dispositif de transport qui est conçu pour transporter le tabac mouillé vers ladite zone de coupe/broyage, et est pourvu d'au moins une courroie de transmission équipée d'au moins une courroie de transmission sans fin. Ce dispositif de transport (5) est associé à une structure de support autoportante qui définit de préférence des éléments de guidage (7). La surface de travail de la courroie de transmission (14) du transporteur principal (5a) est positionnée selon un angle bêta (.beta.) compris entre -10· et +10· par rapport à l'horizontale, un espace d'accès (P) étant ménagé, en position marche, entre le dispositif de transport (5) et le corps immobile (1) de la tête de coupe (2) de la machine à couper.
