A device is disclosed for simple and quick disconnection of a target assembly at a cyclotron accelerator producing an ion beam irradiating the target assembly for PET radioisotope production. The device consists of a target body presenting a target space (20) for introduction of target media to be irradiated by the ion beam from the cyclotron accelerator. The target body is separated into three portions by means of two separation window foils. The first separation window (6) separates the internal space (20) of a first body portion (2) from a further internal space portion (21) of a second target body portion (3) and the second separation window (7) separates a further internal space (21) of the second target body portion (3) from an internal space (22) of a third target body portion (4) being in communication with the vacuum space of the cyclotron. This third body portion (4) forms a bayonet fitting to a corresponding bayonet fitting (5) fixed to the cyclotron vacuum casing at a position where the ion beam is extracted, whereby the corresponding bayonet fitting also constitutes an insulating member. The device can by a small twisting be quickly released from the vacuum casing of the cyclotron after that the vacuum has been removed for necessary maintenance and service.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de déconnexion simple et rapide d'un ensemble cible dans un accélérateur de cyclotron produisant un faisceau ionique qui irradie l'ensemble cible pour la production de radioisotopes en tomographie TEP. Le dispositif comprend un corps de cible présentant un espace cible (20) qui permet d'introduire des supports cibles destinés à être irradiés par le faisceau. Ce corps comprend trois parties séparées par des feuillets fenêtres. La première fenêtre de séparation (6) sépare l'espace interne (20) d'une première partie du corps (2) par rapport à une autre partie de l'espace interne (21) d'une seconde partie du corps de cible (3) et la seconde fenêtre de séparation (7) sépare un autre espace interne (21) d'une seconde partie du corps (3) par rapport à un espace interne (22) d'une troisième partie du corps (4) en communication avec l'espace de vide du cyclotron. La troisième partie du corps (4) forme un raccord à baïonnette avec un système à baïonnette correspondant (5) fixé à l'enceinte de vide du cyclotron, dans une position où le faisceau ionique est extrait, moyennant quoi le raccord à baïonnette correspondant représente également un élément d'isolation. Une légère torsion permet de déconnecter rapidement le dispositif de l'enceinte à vide une fois le vide éliminé pour les besoins de la maintenance.
