ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device permitting to reach the umbilical cord of a foetus in utero and take blood therefrom. It basically comprises two parallel,cannula- forming tubes (1,2),a trocar (3) and a stem (8) terminating by a resilient hook at one end thereof,both of which are intended to slide in the first of said two tubes and are of greater length than the latter,together with a hollow needle (6) adapted to slide within the second of said two tubes and of greater length than the latter,and also means for positioning or removably interlocking said trocar,said hook-bearing stem and/or said hollow needle at the upstream end of the respective tube wherein they extend. Application to analyses and measurements during pregnancy.
