The invention relates to a device for forming a peripherally closed hollow profiled element (1) by means of fluidic internal high pressure. Said device contains an axial plug (4) for sealing the hollow profiled element (1) on the end thereof, said plug comprising an axial through channel (5) supplying a pressurised fluid. The axial plug (4) comprises a sealed body having a trough- like recess (20) on the front side (19) thereof, the peripheral wall (21) of said recess being radially expandable in an elastic manner inside the hollow profiled element (1), by means of pressurised fluid, until it hits the inner wall (22) of the hollow profiled element (1) in a sealing manner. In order to obtain a long-lasting sealability of the device, the axial plug (4) comprises a head (8) formed by an annular collar (10) and a tapered extension (11) adjacent to the annular collar on the front side (7) of the head (8), and a radial annular abutment located on the body (9) of the plug and placed on the end edge (12) of the hollow profiled element (13). The sealing body embodied as a sealing ring (17) is fixed to the extension (11), and the end (28) of the annular collar (10) projects past the outer side (27) of the sealing ring (17) at at least one point in the radial direction.
Dispositif permettant de façonner un profilé creux (1) fermé sur sa circonférence à l'aide d'une haute pression interne fluidique. Ledit dispositif contient un obturateur axial (4) destiné à fermer le profilé creux (1) de manière étanche au niveau de son extrémité, ledit obturateur possédant un passage traversant (5) axial destiné à acheminer le fluide sous pression. L'obturateur axial (4) comporte un corps étanche possédant au niveau de sa face avant (19) un renfoncement (20) en forme d'auge dont la paroi circonférentielle (21) peut être élargie radialement de manière souple à l'intérieur du profilé creux (1) à l'aide du fluide sous pression jusqu'à ce que ladite paroi appuie de manière étanche contre la paroi interne (22) du profilé creux (1). Pour obtenir une capacité d'étanchéité durable du dispositif, l'obturateur axial (4) possède une tête (8) formée par un collet annulaire (10) et un prolongement effilé (11) adjacent au collet annulaire du côté avant (7) de la tête (8), ainsi qu'une butée annulaire radiale située sur le corps (9) d'obturateur et destinée à venir reposer contre le bord (12) de l'extrémité (13) du profilé creux. Le corps d'étanchéité conçu sous forme de bague d'étanchéité (17) est fixé sur le prolongement (11), le bord (28) du collet annulaire (10) faisant saillie par rapport à la face externe (27) de la bague d'étanchéité (17) en au moins un site dans le sens radial sur toute sa circonférence.
