The invention relates to a device for generating a displacement of the mandibula relative to the maxilla, that induces no discomfort for the user, that is not bulky and that enables a displacement of the mandibula relative to the upper maxilla in a postero-anterior direction and/or a direction transverse to the plane of the maxilla and/or perpendicular to the plane of the maxilla. The devive (D) of the invention includes at least one mandibular displacement means (1) to be attached to the upper maxilla (MX) and to the mandibula (MD) by two fixation means (6, 7), respectively, and is characterised in that said mandibular displacement means (1) includes an upper portion (11) to be connected to said upper maxilla (MX) and a lower portion (12) to be connected to said mandibula (MD), wherein said upper and lower portions (11, 12) are adapted to be connected together by a linking means (14), said linking means (14) including an adjustment means (16) for the displacement of the mandibula (MD) relative to the upper maxilla (MX).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif destiné à provoquer un déplacement de la mandibule par rapport au maxillaire qui ne soit ni gênant pour l'utilisateur, ni encombrant, et qui permette un déplacement de la mandibule par rapport au maxillaire supérieur dans une direction postéro antérieure et/ou une direction transversale par rapport au plan du maxillaire et/ou perpendiculaire par rapport au plan du maxillaire. Le dispositif (D) selon l'invention comporte au moins un moyen de déplacement mandibulaire (1) prévu pour être fixé au maxillaire supérieur (MX) et à la mandibule (MD) par deux moyens de fixation (6,7), respectivement et est caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen de déplacement mandibulaire (1) comporte une partie supérieure (11) prévue pour être reliée audit maxillaire supérieur (MX) et une partie inférieure (12) prévue pour être reliée à ladite mandibule (MD), lesdites parties supérieure (11) et inférieure (12) étant prévues pour être reliées l'une à l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un moyen de liaison (14), ledit moyen de liaison (14) comportant un moyen de réglage (16) du déplacement de la mandibule (MD) par rapport au maxillaire supérieur (MX).
