The invention concerns an efficient and reliable device of simple design and use for generating a thermal flux with non-polluting magneto-caloric material, as well as economical and compact and capable of being used in large-scale industrial plants as well as for domestic applications. The device (3) for generating a thermal flux with magneto-caloric material comprises two thermal flux generating units (30) arranged adjacent to each other and provided each with thermal members (31) containing a magneto-caloric element and arranged in line along two rows borne by rectilinear frames (306). The thermal members (31) are alternately subjected to magnetic fields emitted by staggered U-shaped magnetic means (303), arranged on either side of two bars (304) mobile in alternating rectilinear translation. The thermal members (31) are traversed by a conduit containing a heating medium and connected to one or more heating medium circuits. In the presence or in the absence of the magnetic field, the temperature of the thermal members (31) rises or drops to a temperature below the initial temperature. The calories and frigories emitted by the thermal members (31) are recuperated by the heating medium to be evacuated via exchangers. The invention is useful for tempering, cooling, heating, preserving, drying, air conditioning.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de génération de flux thermique à matériau magnéto-calorique non polluant, efficace, fiable, de conception et d'utilisation simples, économique, peu volumineux et pouvant être utilisé dans des installations industrielles de grande échelle ainsi que pour des applications domestiques. Le dispositif (3) de génération de flux thermique à matériau magnéto-calorique comporte deux unités de génération de flux thermique (30) disposées côte à côte et pourvues chacune d'organes thermiques (31) contenant un élément magnéto-calorique et disposés en ligne selon deux rangées portées par des cadres (306) rectilignes. Les organes thermiques (31) sont soumis, de manière alternative, à des champs magnétiques émis par des moyens magnétiques (303) en forme de U, disposés en quinconce de part et d'autre de deux barres (304) mobiles en translation rectiligne alternative. Les organes thermiques (31) sont traversés par un conduit contenant un fluide caloporteur et relié à un ou plusieurs circuits de fluide caloporteur. En présence et en l'absence du champ magnétique, la température des organes thermiques (31) s'élève et s'abaisse à une température inférieure à la température initiale. Les calories et frigories émises par les organes thermiques (31) sont récupérées par le fluide caloporteur pour être évacuées par l'intermédiaire d'échangeurs. Application : tempérage, refroidissement, chauffage, conservation, séchage, climatisation.
