The invention concerns the generation of optical carriers in optical transmission systems with RZ signals. It concerns a device for generating RZ signals, comprising optical sources delivering wavelength multiplexed input signals, an optical clock delivering a clock signal, and an optical gate receiving on its input the multiplexed optical signals and on its control input the clock signal. The optical gate delivers in output RZ signals. The optical gate is a loop non-linear mirror with one or two optical amplifiers, and one or two control inputs for injecting into the loop the clock signal. The invention enables to generate quality RZ carriers, from a single optical clock.
L'invention concerne la génération des porteuses optiques dans les systèmes de transmission optiques à signaux RZ. Elle propose un dispositif de génération de signaux RZ, comprenant des sources optiques fournissant des signaux d'entrée multiplexés en longueurs d'onde, une horloge optique fournissant un signal d'horloge, et une porte optique recevant sur son entrée les signaux optiques multiplexés et sur une entrée de contôle le signal d'horloge. La porte optique fournit en sortie des signaux RZ. La porte optique est un miroir non-linéaire en boucle avec un ou deux amplificateurs optiques, et une ou deux entrées de contrôle pour injecter dans la boucle le signal d'horloge. L'invention permet de générer des porteuses RZ de qualité, à partir d'une seule horloge optique.
