A device for handling the tools of a press that die- cuts a sheet-like matter, and especially for handling the die- cutting and stripping tools of such a press, includes a gantry (1) comprising a crossbar (2) equipped at the end of its arms (3,4) with holders (6,7) for the die-cutting, stripping or blank-separating tools, the gantry (1) being provided with a handlebar which enables its operation by the two hands of a single operator. The gantry (1) is held on a hoisting gear. The device is used for the handling of various tools of a press that die-cuts paper or cardboard.
